The CASA Solo & Duo State Championships provides members who are a part of a team and club to perform an individual routine showcasing their Free Exercises and Dance Technique. Incorporating elements of strength, flexibility and dance, a Solo is a great way for participants to continue developing their own self confidence in performing. 

Duos are performed as a pair with another existing member from the same or different club. Encouraging an emphasis on timing and unison Duos are a great way for members to work collaboratively and improve their confidence and to simply have fun. Similarly to Solos, this arrangement is a combination of Free Exercises and Dance Technique. Both routines are then marked on technique, execution, and choreography.  

To compete in the CASA Solo & Duo State Championships competitors must have completed the required ACF Skills Examination for their age group in order to be eligible to compete in alignment with the ACF standards. CASA’s Solo & Duo State Championships are currently held in October – November after the completion of Team Competitions.
